"Tom is the David Ogilvy of cartooning." --Seth Godin, author of Purple Cow From the birth of social media to digital advertising to personal branding, marketing has transformed in the past 15 years. Capturing these quintessential moments in marketing is Marketoonist, a popular cartoon series from veteran marketer Tom Fishburne. Your Ad Ignored Here collects nearly 200 of these hilarious and apt depictions of modern marketing life on the 15th anniversary of the series. Fishburne began to doodle his observations in 2002 when working in the trenches of marketing. Initially intended for co-workers, they are now read by hundreds of thousands of marketers every week. The cartoons' popularity stem not only from their deft reflections on latest trends, but their witty summary of the shared experiences of marketing -- handling a PR crisis, giving creative feedback to an agency, or avoiding idea killers in innovation. Your Ad Ignored Here gives voice to the challenges and opportunities faced by people working in business everywhere. Readers regularly inquire if Fishburne is spying on them at work. Whether or not you work in marketing, these cartoons will make you laugh ... and think about our rapidly evolving world of work. Tom Fishburne started drawing cartoons on the backs of business cases as a student at Harvard Business School. Fishburne's cartoons have grown by word of mouth to reach hundreds of thousands of marketers every week and have been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and The New York Times. His cartoons have appeared on a billboard ad in Times Square, helped win a Guinness World Record, and turned up in a top-secret NSA presentation released by Edward Snowden. Fishburne draws (literally and figuratively) from 20 years in the marketing trenches in the US and Europe. He was Marketing VP at Method Products, Interim CMO at HotelTonight, and worked in brand management for Nestlé and General Mills. Fishburne developed web sites and digital campaigns for interactive agency iXL in the late 90s and started his marketing career selling advertising space for the first English-language magazine in Prague. In 2010, Fishburne expanded Marketoonist into a marketing agency focused on the unique medium of cartoons. Since 2010, Marketoonist has developed visual content marketing campaigns for businesses such as Google, IBM, Kronos, and LinkedIn. Fishburne is a frequent keynote speaker on marketing, innovation, and creativity, using cartoons, case studies, and his marketing career to tell the story visually. Fishburne lives and draws near San Francisco with his wife and two daughters. All of his cartoons and observations are posted at Advance Praise for Your Ad Ignored Here "If marketing kept a diary, this would be it." --Ann Handley, Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs "Laugh and learn at the same time. BTW, if you don't laugh, you're clueless, and the cartoon is about you." --Guy Kawasaki, Chief evangelist of Canva, Mercedes-Benz brand ambassador "Tom Fishburne has a knack for marketing humor (and truth) like no other." --Lee Odden, CEO, TopRank Marketing "Any great piece of comedy is funny because its true. Well, no one has gathered marketing truths through painfully awkward insights and hilarious delivery the way Tom has." --Ron Tite, Author, Everyone's An Artist (Or At Least They Should Be)

“What Kevvie Fowler has done here is truly amazing: He has defined, established, and documented SQL server forensic methods and techniques, exposing readers to an entirely new area of forensics along the way. This fantastic book is a much needed and incredible contribution to the incident response and forensic communities.” —Curtis W. Rose, founder of Curtis W. Rose and Associates and coauthor of Real Digital Forensics The Authoritative, Step-by-Step Guide to Investigating SQL Server Database Intrusions Many forensics investigations lead to the discovery that an SQL Server database might have been breached. If investigators cannot assess and qualify the scope of an intrusion, they may be forced to report it publicly–a disclosure that is painful for companies and customers alike. There is only one way to avoid this problem: Master the specific skills needed to fully investigate SQL Server intrusions. In SQL Server Forensic Analysis, author Kevvie Fowler shows how to collect and preserve database artifacts safely and non-disruptively; analyze them to confirm or rule out database intrusions; and retrace the actions of an intruder within a database server. A chapter-length case study reinforces Fowler’s techniques as he guides you through a real-world investigation from start to finish. The techniques described in SQL Server Forensic Analysis can be used both to identify unauthorized data access and modifications and to gather the information needed to recover from an intrusion by restoring the pre-incident database state. Coverage includes Determining whether data was actually compromised during a database intrusion and, if so, which data Real-world forensic techniques that can be applied on all SQL Server instances, including those with default logging Identifying, extracting, and analyzing database evidence from both published and unpublished areas of SQL Server Building a complete SQL Server incident response toolkit Detecting and circumventing SQL Server rootkits Identifying and recovering previously deleted database data using native SQL Server commands SQL Server Forensic Analysis is the first book of its kind to focus on the unique area of SQL Server incident response and forensics. Whether you’re a digital forensics specialist, incident response team member, law enforcement officer, corporate security specialist, auditor, or database professional, you’ll find this book an indispensable resource.

With a young king facing death, a warrior of the Knights Templar struggles to maintain Christian control of the Holy Land in this “masterful . . . great read” (Publishers Weekly). Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed Nomine Tuo da gloriam. “Not to us, O Lord, but to Your Name give glory.” This motto highlights the vows of chastity and humility taken by the Knights Templar. But, it also speaks to their role as ferocious warriors, passionately and bloodily seeking out glory for their God. Set in the Holy Land in 1187 A.D., Cecelia Holland’s historical novel masterfully explores the conspiracies and political maneuvers leading up to the Third Crusade. Following a stunning victory at the Battle of Ramleh, Norman Templar Rannulf Fitzwilliam must negotiate a truce with the enemy and determine the order of succession to the throne of Baudouin, the young Christian king dying of leprosy. However, Rannulf’s instincts are for battle, not diplomacy. Temptation and betrayal await him around every corner. The question is not whether he can survive on the battlefield, but whether he can survive the politics and protocol of the royal court. “Holland's masterful layering of subplots, historical detail and multiple perspectives makes for a great read.” —Publisher’s Weekly “She brings as much suspense to political intrigue as to the sprawling battle scenes at which she excels.” —The New York Times Book Review
