Since our last issue The Magazine of History has issued one number nov.-dec. 1917, published in September, 1920. Annals of Iowa, having lain dormant since 1915, is again show ing signs of life. The New York State Historical Association has issued a Quarterly Journal, vol. 1, No. 1, being October, 1919. As Library Journal and Public Libraries are now indexed in the Readers' Guide, we omit them, but have added new this year Library, London, and The Library Association Record. New and notable periodicals are included in this volume from their first issue to the end of 1920, namely z - Canadian Bookman, Canadian Historical Review, London Mercury, Print Connoisseur. The late appearance of this volume is this year caused by printing strike, and binders' strike. We hope next year to get back to normal times once more.
