/head Once upon a time there was a little girl called Alexandra who asked her daddy, “Daddy, please tell me a stoooweee”. Well this is my story on how I created thousands of children stories. These stories come from a world where animals of all kinds all talk and learn, like children, about life. Around the age of three my daughter got tired of me reading little kiddy stories and asked me “Daddy, please tell me a stoooweee”. So every night I would make up a new short story. One day, when she was 7 years old, I decided to tape these stories so she could hear them over and over. Well that went on for 7 more years with over 110 hours and over 3,000 stories. There are so many stories that I will have to write many more volumes. So here we are, the first book is published and now kids all over the world can enjoy them as my daughter did for many years. The time you spend with your child is most rewarding. Never get tired of loving, kissing and hugging them, no matter how old they get. Please view the book website by Clicking here. How are our memories, our narratives, and our intelligence interrelated? What can artificial intelligence and narratology say to each other? In this pathbreaking study by an expert on learning and computers, Roger C. Schank argues that artificial intelligence must be based on real human intelligence, which consists largely of applying old situations - and our narratives of them - to new situations in less than obvious ways. To design smart machines, Schank therefore investigated how people use narratives and stories, the nature and function of those narratives, and the connection of intelligence to both telling and listening. As Schank explains, "We need to tell someone else a story that describes our experiences because the process of creating the story also creates the memory structure that will contain the gist of the story for the rest of our lives. Talking is remembering." This first paperback edition includes an illuminating foreword by Gary Saul Morson.

Two-Thirds of the world don't read. How can the church reach them? Tell Me a Story is a profound call to the global church to use storytelling, or Orality, as a primary method for communicating Christ's gospel to the world. Dennis Johnson and Joe Musser outline compelling and practical strategies for reaching children and adults around the world whose primary way of learning is through hearing oral stories. You will be inspired and equipped to make Orality, or story telling, a part of your ministry in your neighborhood, in your local church, and around the world.

Do you know what makes a story great? All the best stories have a few things in common. First, we need the voice of a narrator or a storyteller. Then, add interesting characters, throw them into a risky setting, and get ready for a good dose of conflict. Give those characters a purpose or goal, and that's then the real action begins. Story is our calling. It is also the next generation’s best chance of identifying with the Church and changing the world. As we become storytellers, we learn to see the world in terms of stories being lived and told. We discover deeper insights into God, ourselves, and others. God’s story is happening. We are right in the middle of a page-turner—and God is in it with us. Start seeing your life as a part of God’s story and make some great adventures happen right now!
