Can you imagine the throngs of people crowded around Jesus every time he wrought a miracle? Now think of that same crowd surrounding Him as He was walking through the streets of Jerusalem with a cross on His back. The woman with the issue of blood was in the crowd seeking a miracle, all her hope now was centered on touching the hem of His garment. She had overcome the crowd of doubt, worry, fear, anxiety and questions. She pressed through her faith and allowed her faith to become her testimony. The crowd that surrounded Jesus while he was carrying the cross were accusers, persecutors, unbelievers, scorners and many more yet He pushed through. Jesus our pathfinder has cleared the way and has supplied us with the tools of faith and prayer to help us tunnel through our most difficult situations. So remember to PUSH THROUGH THE CROWD!!!!!!!!!!!

Every surgeon to know the entire surgical physiology and surgical anatomy in dealing with a particular or multiple surgical problems developed in the same patient. This book has been comprehensively compiled with all aspects of surgical anatomy, surgical physiology, and dealing with all sorts of clinical and operative skills in the field of colorectal surgery. In this book, described the symptoms, clinical examination, investigations and merits of different treatments reported in the literature. Highlighted the recent trend in surgical treatment for the rectal carcinoma. This book will assist the trainee surgeons to understand the difference between the two schools of thought, difference between two surgical approaches and technical benefits between the conventional and new operative procedures for the same surgical pathology. Highlighted the conflicting surgical anatomy between the textbook of clinical surgery and the textbook of anatomy. Focused the consistency between two arguments along with my own views, based upon my own anatomical dissection, clinical and operative experience. Although one can learn a skill and gain a practical experience by working in the field of colorectal surgery, it is not possible for everyone to be fully aware of the recent changes, published in the literature. It has been well established that colonoscopy provides additional diagnostic evidences, but it is not without problems. To improve the clinical management, colonography has been a new diagnostic tool in clinical medicine. Its clinical importance and its pitfalls have been highlighted in this book. Apart from these technologies, many radiological evidences, such as modern role of CT scan, MRI scan and PET scan have been compiled in this book. This would provide immense clinical value in the management of diseases. This book will provide the necessary diet to meet individual quest without searching for further information in other literature. This book would provide valuable facts to the surgical students, in particular to those who intend to practice in colorectal surgery and to those who have been working in this specialty. Since colonoscopic tools are widely available, radiological investigations are less frequently used in the investigation of the colonic diseases. As a result, academic input to the postgraduate students has become a problem in the absence of true radiological features of certain colonic diseases such as ischemic colitis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis or familial polyposis coli. I have, therefore, retrieved a few rare radiological images from other literatures for the benefit of the postgraduate students.

In His Grip A Walk Through Breast Cancer

Amys story is a most inspiring one to read for anyone going through lifes struggles - one that will give encouragement whatever one may be dealing with. First and foremost, this is an account of a cancer journey; a journal revealing an absolute faith that God is willing to walk the journey alongside of you, all the way! If you are reading this and you are someone setting out on, or already in the middle of, a similar journey, this is an important read for you! Amys story will certainly not hide any of the rough times; but it will tell you about many positive aspects as well, and how faith is the only way to make the trip. This book is not just for cancer sufferers, but also for anyone experiencing lifes many trials, whatever they may be. Amys raw and emotive style tells it just like it is. You will feel the emotion; shed some tears and certainly draw many smiles. There is little more powerful than hearing this story told literally, while experiencing each and every aspect of the journey along with her. The power is in hearing Gods story, as told through Amy, and thats just what this is. You will be encouraged that its okay to have roller coaster emotions, to feel anger, to experience joy, to feel spiritually low and equally high; that its okay to ask why me? Amy is one amazing lady who turned what could have been a very negative experience - focusing on feeling sorry for herself - to one that focuses on making an impact on others. For example - Amy refused to wear a wig once she lost her hair so she would not miss opportunities to testify to others who would otherwise not have approached her. Perhaps most compelling is how many people have told Amy that while they should have been supporting her in keeping a positive attitude, she was in fact being the inspiration for them. I know! I was one of those people! I pray for them every day and I know that they do the same for me. It is this, together with God, that will keep us all positive and moving forward, whatever the challenges of life that are thrown our way.

Spending hour upon hour trailing him around the bars and honky-tonks of La Crosse, Wisconsin, young Danielle grew up fascinated by stories of her dad's adventures as a tunnel rat in Vietnam, where he'd risked his life crawling head first into narrow passageways to search for American POWs. A vivid and poignant portrait of a daughter's relationship with her father, this funny, heartbreaking, and beautifully written memoir, Falling Through the Earth, "makes plain that the horror of war doesn't end in the trenches" (Vanity Fair).

Two tantalizing tales, magically intertwined, cross cultures and span centuries as three kids set out to save the lives of three others—who just happen to live in the Middle Ages! A stone lion roars... A sleek black cat speaks... A faun leaps from the canvas of a painting... When Jared, Shireen, and Miranda are each given one glittering gift from an old Venetian shopkeeper, they never fathom the powers they are now able to unleash; they never expect that their very reality is about to be utterly upended. And the adventure has hardly begun. For in another time, centuries earlier, another trio—Rashid, Maria, and Francesca—have been thrown together under terrible circumstances: They have been kidnapped and, along with hundreds of other children, will be sold into child slavery. Unless, that is, they can find some way to save them all. But all their fates lie in the hands of Jared, Shireen, and Miranda. The future—and the lives—of these three very modern children become entirely intertwined with those of the children from the past. Danger, it seems, has a way of spanning centuries. “Reminiscent to Cornelia Funke’s Inkheart.” —School Library Journal
