President Hibben, called on by Judge Wells to close the programme, made a brief address on Princeton's standards of scholarship. J Preceding Alumni Day, on the evening of the 21st, the third Brackett Lecture was delivered by Dr. John W. Lieb, Vice-President of the New York Ellison Company, who gave a most interesting address to a large audience on "Leonardo da Vinci, Artist, Naturalist and Engineer." Dr. Lieb comprehensively presented the results of many years of investigation and study of documents bearing on the life and achievements of the versatile Italian painter, and it is hoped that his Princeton lecture, which was copiously illustrated, may be preserved by publication in appropriate form.
