Like optimism, intuition can be cultivated. Research has shown that contrary to popular opinion intuition isnt something we are born with and it doesnt come naturally to everyone. Intuition is a skill that we can learn and we can get better at it the more we practise. Drawing on science, psychology and Theresa's techniques this book offers 21 simple and proven daily rituals to help you tune into your inner wisdom and start making better decisions in your life today. Following on from the success of 21 Rituals to Change your Life readers will be encouraged to follow a daily ritual plan for a period of at least 21 days. Research shows that it takes around three weeks to ensure a daily ritual becomes entrenched at a neural level and is therefore powerful enough to change your life for the better. Each of the intuition-boosting rituals are simple and easy to understand and can be incorporated into everyday life in a matter of moments. Most importantly they are enjoyable and rewarding, with, external benefits or internal insights becoming obvious within days. Combining science, esoteric arts, the power of ritual and the accessibility of popular psychology, this easy-to-read guide will engage, motivate and inspire.

From The Intuitive Advisor ''After 20 years as a medical-intuitive advisor, I realized that teaching people how to listen for the intuitive message behind the disease wasn't enough to help them create true and lasting health.... [A] vital step was missing - namely, how to effectively respond to what their intuition was advising, and how they could learn to heal their lives and assist in healing those around them. ''That's when I came to the realization that the health of each of the seven energy centers of the body depends on following a rule that involves balancing two seemingly opposite or contradictory qualities in our lives. I call this set of balancing acts the Seven Rules for Intuitive Health. Just as harmonized brain function depends on having both the left and the right hemispheres in sync, healing body and mind in each of these seven energy centers or chakras involves following a rule to balance dual identities and engage two paradoxical mind-sets simultaneously. ''Thus, learning the Seven Rules for Intuitive Health will help you create a healthy mind and body. Whenever you're in danger of dropping the ball somewhere, you'll intuitively understand the warning signs your body is sending you via your health - and you'll know how to get back on track.''

Many of us grapple with how to stay happy, calm, and focused in a world that seems to get more complex by the minute. How do we keep our wits about us, our mood stable, and our memory intact when our brains and bodies are bombarded with information and influences from every side? This one-of-a-kind resource combines cutting-edge science with compassion and wisdom to offer answers we can really use. Heal Your Mind continues the three-pronged healing approach that Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz and Louise Hay pioneered together in All Is Well: Heal Your Body with Medicine, Affirmations, and Intuition. Here, it’s applied to aspects of the mind ranging from depression, anxiety, and addiction to memory, learning, and even mystical states. You’ll learn what’s going on in your brain and body when: • You feel sad, angry, or panicked • An addictive substance or behavior has hold of you • You have trouble focusing, reading, or remembering • A past trauma is clouding your mind in the present • An emotional state is a clue to a physical ailment • And more And in each chapter, you’ll get a “virtual healing experience” through case studies in the All Is Well Clinic, where Dr. Mona Lisa uses medical intuition to pinpoint issues in a wide range of prototypical client histories and she and Louise offer solutions and affirmations to help restore well-being. Today, the “pill-for-every-ill” approach is so prevalent that we may think our minds and bodies need an endless array of expensive, ever-changing pharmaceutical interventions. In truth, medicines are just one approach to healing the mind; nutritional supplements give us another important way to support mind-body health; and affirmations, as well as various forms of therapy, can restore us to balance by changing the way we think. Heal Your Mind puts all these tools at your disposal to help you choose your own path toward wholeness.

The present book is the result of a three year research project which investigated the creative act of composing by means of algorithmic composition. Central to the investigation are the compositional strategies of 12 composers, which were documented through a dialogic and cyclic process of modelling and evaluating musical materials. The aesthetic premises and compositional approaches configure a rich spectrum of diverse positions, which is reflected also in the kinds of approaches and methods used. These approaches and methods include the generation and evaluation of chord sequences using genetic algorithms, the application of morphing strategies to research harmonic transformations, an automatic classification of personal preferences via machine learning, and an application of mathematical music theory to the analysis and resynthesis of musical material. The second part of the book features contributions by Sandeep Bhagwati, William Brooks, David Cope, Darla Crispin, Nicolas Donin, and Guerino Mazzola. These authors variously consider the project from different perspectives, offer independent approaches, or provide more general reflections from their respective research fields.

The Hidden Intelligence explores what intuition is and is not, and why it is often hidden. Based on interviews with executives from Fortune 500 organizations to entrepreneurial startups, the book is full of insights the author has gathered over the years working with creative problem solving and ideation techniques. It brings our intuition into the mainstream of those skills crucial to running a successful business. The Hidden Intelligence explores how intuition in its various forms helps to create new products and marketing strategies at large and organizations. It explains what is and what is not intuition, why it is often hidden, and demonstrates that when it is used correctly, the intuitively-based decision is always correct. Sandra Weintraub began Management Resources over twenty years ago as a training and management development consulting firm. She has provided training for Fortune 500, educational, and governmental organizations, served as an adjunct professor in management skills at Brandeis University, and published several articles on management and intuition.
