The Teachings of The Order of Christian Mystics Awaken the Inner Life.THE LOVE OF RABIACCAA Tragedy in Five Acts. A most astounding prophecy.A thrilling tale of a pre-historic race, recovered psychically by the Authors. The legend is that ages ago, before the Mayas reached the zenith of their glory, there came to them a white child who had remarkable psychic and prophetic powers. She was said to have come from "over the mountains" and as the city was surrounded by inaccessible mountains which made communication with the outside world impossible, except through a secret pass known only to the priests, the appearance of such a child was considered miraculous. This white child was given into the care of the priests and attached to the Temple of the Sun where she was brought up in all the learning of the priesthood, and in time was made their High Priestess and was married to the king. Under guidance of her divine inspiration the nation grew and prospered to such an extent that it became the leader in learning, civilization and power. But at the death of the king the Priestess-queen was betrayed and murdered at the instigation of the king's sister who desired to inherit the throne. After the tragedy it was found that a miracle had taken place, for although the Priestess was stabbed to the heart, no blood had flowed. The priests then took charge of the body and claimed that it would remain in a state of suspended animation and perfect preservation until the Soul of the Priestess returned. During the centuries that have elapsed, the nation gradually declined until it is now composed of but a few insignificant tribes buried in the mysterious mountain fastnesses of Central America into which no white man has ever been permitted to penetrate. But the priests still declare that the Priestess-queen will some day return and restore the glory of the nation. Contents ACT I. The Battlements of the City. ACT II. The Shrine on the Mountainside. ACT III. The Crypt Beneath the Temple. ACT IV. The Love Philtre. ACT V. Scene I. The Rite of Naked Sword. Scene II. The Flaming Pyre, and the Prophecy.

"I have promised to be a model citizen daughter....I have confined my Shrimp time to making out with him in the Java the Hut supply closet and quick feels on the cold hard sand at the beach during our breaks, but enough is enough....Delia and I are planning a party at Wallace and Shrimp's house and I am spending the night whether Sid and Nancy notice or not. I will be as wild as I wanna be." After being kicked out of a fancy New England boarding school, Cyd Charisse is back home in San Francisco with her parents, Sid and Nancy, in a household that drives her crazy. Lucky for Cyd, she's always had Gingerbread, her childhood rag doll and confidante. After Cyd tests her parents' permissiveness, she is grounded in Alcatraz (as Cyd calls her room) and forbidden to see Shrimp, her surfer boyfriend. But when her incarceration proves too painful for the whole family, Cyd's parents decide to send her to New York to meet her biological father and his family, whom Cyd has always longed to know. Summer in the city is not what Cyd Charisse expects -- and Cyd isn't what her newfound family expects, either. With Gingerbread, debut author Rachel Cohn creates a spirited world of in-your-face characters who are going to stay with readers for a long time.

The Super Market Guy

The Supermarket Guy is a hilarious story that takes you on a Ferris wheel ride of fun and unexpected twists and odd situations. In the end, it offers that sort of spirit and camaraderie that truly makes any country great. It's people looking after its people. The Supermarket Guy, known as Harold, starts his normal routine off to work at his uncle's grocery store, causing a few destructive incidents at work. Unfairly blamed for the chaos created at the grocery store, he gets demoted. While having to suffer profusely, watching his alcoholic rival take charge of the store, he makes his best attempts to please his new master. With love in full blossom at the time-love is always on Harold's mind-he mistakenly meets up with a high-class hottie named Shelly, which changes a lot of things for the better. At the same time, an investment opportunity with an old friend conjures up future fortunes. Life seems to be looking up for old Harry-or is it just a mirage at the market? Can Harold stomach entering into his workplace demoted just when meeting his new high-class love interest? Growing up, my main interest was art sketching, and I got plenty of inspiration for practice through the comic books I bought locally. I became a big fan of Marvel and Archie comics. Then there was the calmness and serenity that was only offered by small-village life, with the art of fishing and wading in its rivers in the hot summer months. Being a nature lover, sometimes a thirst came to just escape into the wild where the scent of pines and fir trees abounded in massive quantities. Then the yellow colors of birches, red maple leaves, and the fall rustle of leaves on the ground provided for myself a strange sort of reflection and admiration of the cycle of nature. The solace of winter and the fresh powder base allowed us to rush out again to enjoy cross-country skiing, sliding, and downhill skiing.
