While working on a top-secret research program for the US Department of Defense in the freezing waters off Japan, a leading scientist turns up dead, eaten by a monster shark. US Air Force OSI Special Agent Vin Cooper is hurriedly dispatched to investigate. Both cases suddenly collide when Cooper finds himself having to parachute out of a plane and into the night-time skies of a hostile Pakistan. His mission: to recover stolen US Defense biological technology. The stakes: to prevent a nuclear war between Pakistan and India that could engulf the world. The problem: Cooper has to jump alongside a soldier he suspects is a killer. While a member of the U.S. Air Force in Morocco in 1954-55, I was assigned to attend French language classes. While in class, I met Marcel, he was also ordered to attend classes in the French Language. Marcel was a U.S. citizen who was in the French Foreign Legion at the time. He also said he was told by his Officers that he had one year to learn the French Language or he may not be allowed to remain in the Foreign Legion. It was discovered Marcel was an expert at knife throwing, one of my life long desires. He agreed to teach me all the knowledge required to throw knives. After a few days we started our knife throwing training. I was told by him that it would take approximately three months to learn the art of knife throwing. We first built a wooden target, three ft. by three ft. and placed on posts buried in the ground at approximately six foot high. The knives are to be thrown at the target from fifteen to eighteen ft. away. The knives are constructed from one piece of flexible stainless steel. They are approximately eleven inches long,. Whenever the occasion allowed, Marcel and I traveled to places in Morocco to observe the sights. Roman ruins, women's prison, locus swarm, dust storms. If it was there, we wanted to see it. I felt compelled to describe our trips in my knife throwing manual. The knife throwing manual covers how to throw knives in a very well outlined method. It repeats it's self several times to make sure the student fully understands exactly what is required by him to be a successful knife thrower. The manual covers how a throwing knife is constructed and why. It covers how to hold the throwing knife and how to release it. How to take steps when throwing and using your arms to obtain your goal. And making the knife stick where you wish. This manual is aimed at the training of the novice knife thrower. Those who use it should reach a satisfying level in knife throwing. I am thankful for your purchase of this manual and hope to see you all throw someday.

For the many pilots who do want or need to learn specific maneuvers, there is no better guidance than this book. A lesson-by-lesson guide, it combines accessible text from aerobatics champions with sequential cockpit view photographs and detailed graphic illustration to provide a hands-on primer on specific advanced aerobatic maneuvers. Each maneuver is given an entire chapter, with a clear description of its elements; discussion of the theory behind it; step-by-step details on how to fly it; a look at the finer points and common errors; and corrective measures to take if something goes wrong. Spicing up the lessons are the personal advanced aerobatic tips of such world and national champions as Patty Wagstaff, Les Loudenslager, Phil Knight, and Xavier de L'Apparent, and advice from U.S. National Team trainer John Morrissey. This book also provides coverage of training regimens, and high-performance aerobatic aircraft.
