A classic Bible prophecy book that looks at end times subjects, but this one is a positive, hopeful book that urges Christians to both stay strong during persecution, and look anxiously forward to eternity. This book looks at apostasy in the Church, Middle East storm clouds, the importance of vitality of prayer, and practical ways to stand for the faith. One of the most balanced prophecy teachers around today, Reagan has a Ph.D. in political science and taught at the University of Texas before starting Lamb and Lion Ministries in McKinney, TX in 1980. His heavy speaking schedule takes him to a wide range of denominations, all anxious to hear his hope-filled message that says simply, "Jesus is coming soon!"

The world is on an inexorable path toward the apocalypse, currently exhibiting many of the Bible’s prophesied signs of the end times. When the Jews regained nationhood in May 1948, the countdown began toward the promised return of the Messiah. In Fifty Signs of the End Times, compelling new information is shared demonstrating that the end-time clock is nearing midnight, including: • How the alignment of the nations soon to come against Israel is exactly as prophesied in the Bible. • The many ways that God has honored His promise to richly bless Israel in the latter days – including the discovery of new energy sources. • Recent and detailed information concerning the coming Tribulation Temple. • Amazing accounts demonstrating how God is pouring out His Spirit in these latter days. • How God has miraculously protected Israel in its recent wars. • Revealing how twelve of Christ’s prophecies in His Olivet Discourse have come true in our time. Dr. David Nichols explains these intriguing signs, and dozens more, in meticulous detail. We are fast approaching Armageddon. However, this need not cause alarm. God has provided an escape. “I have well over fifty prophecy volumes in my library and can honestly say that none display more of the detailed and accurate research as seen in this book. Every prophecy student worth his salt needs to read it!” ---Dr. H.L. Willmington, Founder and Dean, Liberty Home Bible Institute “David Nichols has written an excellent study on the signs of the end times. His biblical knowledge, medical and scientific perspective, and analysis of the culture make this an incredible study. Don’t miss it.” ---Dr. Ed Hindson, Asst. Chancellor, Liberty University; Host of “The King is Coming”

The underlying premise of the book is a simple one: the global capitalist system is approaching an apocalyptic zero-point. Its four riders of the apocalypse are the ecological crisis, the consequences of the biogenetic revolution, the imbalances within the system itself (problems with intellectual property, the forthcoming struggle for raw materials, food and water), and the explosions of social divisions and exclusions. Society’s first reaction is ideological denial, then explosions of anger at the injustices of the new world order, attempts at bargaining, and when this fails, depression and withdrawal set in. Finally, after passing through this zero-point we no longer perceive it as a threat, but as the chance for a new beginning. or, as Mao Zedong might have put it, “There is great disorder under heaven, the situation is excellent.” Žižek traces out in detail these five stances, makes a plea for a return to the Marxian critique of political economy, and sniffs out the first signs of a budding communist culture in all its diverse forms—in utopias that range from Kafka’s community of mice to the collective of freak outcasts in the TV series Heroes.

In this second book in his Scratch Flat Chronicles, John Hanson Mitchell tells how he set out to recreate Henry David ThoreauÕs two years at Walden Pond in a replica of ThoreauÕs cabin. Mitchell lived off the grid, without running water or electricity, in a tiny house not half a mile from a major highway and in the shadow of a massive new computer company. Nevertheless, his contact with wildlife, the changing seasons, and the natural world equaled and even surpassed ThoreauÕs. Hugely popular with the international community of Thoreau followers when it was first published, this book will now be essential reading for the growing community of people who are interested in living in a tiny house, fully experiencing the natural world, or finding self-sufficiency in an increasingly plugged-in society.
