Marcia begins the book ""Angels I Have Seen"" by explaining, first, how her mystical gift of prophecy, seeing and hearing the things of the spirit, developed. She spent 25 years listening to the Spirit and automatically writing what she heard. The gift strengthened as she prayed and listened to the Spirit for people in staff meetings and at healing prayer services. The second part of the book includes paintings of some of the angels she saw and painted and what the paintings mean. Enjoy the angel paintings and see what they mean to you. Notice how strong and vibrant the angels are. Close your eyes to imagine what your angels may appear to be. Marcia has been married to her husband, Ken, for over 41 years and lives in Leawood, Kansas. Ken and Marcia have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.

Cur Homo A History Of The Thesis Concerning Man As A Replacement For Fallen Angels

This monograph has set itself the goal to examine, outline, elucidate, and supplement the existing body of knowledge concerning a theme from patristic and medieval theology recalled in 1953 by Marie-Dominique Chenu, and that is the assertion that man was created as a replacement for fallen angels (Yves Congar: créature de remplacement; Louis Bouyer: ange de remplacement). The study first shows that the idea of man having being created to take the place of fallen angels was introduced by St. Augustine and developed by other church fathers. It then identifies the typical contexts in which the subject was raised by authors of the early Middle Ages, but goes on to focus on the discussion that developed during the twelfth century (Anselm of Canterbury, the school of Laon, Rupert of Deutz, Honorius of Autun), which represents the high point of the theme under investigation, culminating in the assertion that man is an "original" being, created for its own sake, for whom God created the world – a world which together with, and through, man is destined for the heavenly Jerusalem. The question as to whether man would have been created if the angels had not sinned (cur homo) bears a clear similarity to a further controversy, the origins of which also go back to the twelfth century, and that is whether the Son of God would have become incarnate if man had not sinned (cur Deus homo). Next, the book sheds light on how the subject begins to gradually fade away through the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, both within monastic tradition, which nonetheless held onto Augustine's motif, and within scholastic theology, which asserted that man was created for his own sake. The conclusion summarizes the findings and points to the surprisingly contemporary relevance of the foregoing reflections, particularly in relation to the critique that the Swiss philosopher and theologian Romano Amerio († 1997) offers concerning a statement in the pastoral constitution of the Second Vatican Council (Gaudium et spes 24), according to which man is "the only creature on earth that God willed for itself".

Yes, angels are real. They are not the product of your imagination. “If we had open spiritual eyes we would see not only a world filled with evil spirits and powers—but also powerful angels with drawn swords, set for our defense.” —Billy Graham Dr. Graham lifts the veil between the visible and the invisible world to give us an eye-opening account of these behind-the-scenes agents. This best-selling classic records the experiences of Dr. Graham and others who are convinced that at moments of special need they have been attended by angels. With keen insight and conviction, Dr. Graham affirms that: God's invisible hosts are better organized than any of the armies of man—or Satan. Angels "think, feel, will, and display emotions." Angels guide, comfort, and provide for people in the midst of suffering and persecution. At death, the faithful will be ushered by angels into the presence of God.

“Angels Inspire Me” was written to inspire other people who love angel stories, and to motivate people to learn and grow spiritually. A letter to the president of the United States was written because I was concerned about our country’s future. “Angels Inspire Me” tells readers about angels and what their duties are. There are good and bad angels on earth and in heaven. I researched Bible Prophecy and wrote concerning End Time events. God is the only one who knows the future, and when Jesus is coming back in the rapture. God’s love lifted me, and I was inspired by His creations, angels.
